I was driving on the highway and noticed the temperature gauge rising and then it shot all the way up, so I pulled over and popped the hood and did not see anything. I did not see anything leaking underneath at the front but when the wrecker arrived and started loading it I saw what appeared and smelled like coolant pouring out underneath near the middle of the Jeep. I am not all that familiar with undercarriage parts so I do not know what was leaking. It was towed to the dealer that was only a mile away and I have not heard of the diagnosis as of yet. I am furious because this is my first Jeep and the first new car that I have ever had to have an issue. I haven't had it six months yet and I am ready to part ways because of fear something else will happen after warranty ends. I am not a fan of Jeep any longer especially after the way I was treated by the dealership I purchased it from. Needless to say, I did not have it towed to that dealer for repair!
I did research before I purchased but I did not realize there is so many problems and complaints with newer Jeep Wranglers. I always thought the problems occurred because of off-roading which I have not done and probably never will now!! So much for American made autos! I am going back to Honda!! Yes, I am beyond angry with Jeep!
Update from May 25, 2022: The problem was a busted hose where the clamp was attached. Not sure why this happened but issue is resolved.
