The Wrangler JL-series sun-visor is a flawed design, with an inadequate retention plastic push nut that is supposed to hold the sun-visor in place, and allow rotation between the front windshield and side windows. This plastic push-nut breaks frequently, allowing the visor to fall into you hands while driving, as experienced by many Wrangler JL drivers. This results in a prompt distorted drivers issue, which extends into a longer term issue, as you now face having the sun in your face for a few hours after sunrise and before sunset, due to the tall windshields.

The issue is so frequent that the dealership has a 3 month backorder for replacement visors. Many people experience this issue days or weeks after purchasing new Wranglers, so Chrysler-Jeep not devising an engineering fix over a 3+ year cycle is BS. My replacement is due in late January 2022, for an issue reported to the dealership in September 2021.
FYI, an after warranty replacement visor, if your have a wired visor, will set you back well over $400.
