Flash: Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) Updates
The customer may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): ? **P0C01-00 - Drive Motor A Current High. ? P0C05-00 - Drive Motor A Phase U-V-W Circuit/Open.** ? P0507 - Idle Speed Performance Higher Than Expected. **In addition the customer may notice the following: ? Loss of 12V charging (Battery Light) and/or loud noise from MGU motor.** This bulletin involves updating the HCP with the latest available software and if necessary replacing the Motor Generator Unit (MGU).
