While driving with traffic at highway speeds, bumps in the road surface cause the Front End of my 2019 JEEP WRANGLER to bounce violently and I have to reduce the speed to around 45 MPH to have the suspension return to normal. I have brought the vehicle to Golling Jeep Dealership 3 times. They replaced the Steering Damper in May of 2021which temporarily resolved the issue. I brought the car back in August and September where the dealership reports they could not duplicate the failure. In a recent Detroit Free Press Article, this condition was called an "Alleged Death Wobble". Golling tells me there is nothing wrong. There was no accident, no known damage and there was no warning of any kind. I just watch for bumps and drive slower - not with the speed of traffic on I 696 in Oakland County Michigan. I believe this is Unsafe and I told Golling's Service team the same. What Can I do? [XXX] INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Subsequent to my yearly annual service which included a tire rotation, my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport developed the "Jeep Death Wobble". At speeds in excess of 60 mph and with a certain series of road bumps, the Jeep begins to violently wobble until speed is reduced to approximately 58mph.

I own a 2019 Jeep Rubicon and the steering wheel rotates violently (~25? back and forth) while driving at any speed and when I hit a bump on the road. Even a small bump on the road causes this problem. I have researched this and some Jeep websites call it a -??death wobble-??. 25? violent steering wheel rotation at 70 mph is very startling it is an extremely unsafe. It almost caused me to crash on more than 3 occasions. There are no apparent recalls about this issue but this problem is reported on several Jeep websites. Are there any plans to implement any sort of safety warning or a recall about this problem? Thank you and please keep me posted.

The check engine light came on one evening. The next morning during driving the dashboard flashed a "Service Shifter" warning. Then a series of other warnings all light up. The dashboard flashed like it was malfunctioning. The Jeep lost power steering and stuck in the current gear I was in. The vehicle had to be towed to the dealership. They have had it now for four days. And, they have no idea what's wrong with it.

The steering on JL 2019 has been a problem from the start. The steering wheel damper was replaced and the steering is still a problem. There is too much play in the steering which has been the cause of several potential accidents especially at highway speeds.

When driving 70 miles an hour and hit a bridge seam which intersect the highway at 45 degree angle the car goes into a violent death wobble. We have had 2 Jeep service departments look at the issue stating nothing is wrong with the car. We are still experiencing this death wobble

While driving normally my dash lights and info display start running a sequence that goes through a multitude of warnings and service checks on the vehicles systems, I lose power steering for a bit then lights go out, but check engine light and ess stay on. When remote starting my Jeep the same thing kind of happens only the warning lights do not go out quickly and I cannot shift out of park to drive the vehicle, after some time usually a 1/2 to a full day of waiting the lights go out execept for the check engine light and ess. I took it to the dealer that I bought it from and they told me it was a loose negitive battery terminal connection, about three miles down the road it did the lights and steering thing again.

I have noticed at high speeds when I am driving and I go over a pot hole or even when I go over a rumble strip I get an aggressive steering wheel shake. Another issue would be the passenger visor it broke when my vehicle only had 36,600K miles. I hardly use the visor one day my passenger out the visor down to cover the sun from face and it just fell from the corner.

As I was driving on the highway at about 75+ mph, I passed over some uneven pavement and my steering and chassis began shaking for about 5-10 seconds. When I slowed down, it stopped; however, it felt like the steering wheel was going to come off and the tires were going to fly off of my car.

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving 55 mph, the vehicle would shake uncontrollably after driving over a bump in the road. The contact stated there was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was serviced under an unknown recall prior to the contact owning the vehicle however, the failure occurred. The vehicle was taken to union city Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat (3950 jonesboro rd, union city, ga 30291) where it was diagnosed with the steering damper needing to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 12,000.

My 2019 rubicon from day 1 has had a dangerous wandering issue. It is very difficult to keep the vehicle on a straight track and sometimes to even stay in your lane. It is especially dangerous on the highway in windy conditions. Wrangler style Jeep are known for catching the wind however, with the wandering problem in the steering you tend to oversteer to compensate making the vehicle very difficult to control. I complained about this the first day I bought it new and was told that this is how Jeep are. I know how all vehicles are and where they cross the line with a safety issue. If you go on line and punch in Jeep wandering issues there are literally thousands of post about this problem and it appears that Jeep just ignores this safety issue. I wouldn't be taking the time to write this if it were just an inconvenience. This is a serious and dangerous problem. My wife has a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it rides like a luxury car. She won;T even drive my rubicon because she is so scared of how it wanders. The steering wheel has to be constantly compensated back and forth to keep it in line. So much so that I worry some times that if there were a cop in back of me that he would think I was impaired the way the vehicle is always back and forth. I bought my 4 door 2019 rubicon brand new and it only has 21,000 miles on it now. No one should have to be afraid to drive a brand new vehicle with a safety issue like this and Jeep should have fixed this obvious issue and not be ignoring it. Lets not wait till someone gets killed because of this issue. From the research I have done and hundreds of post I have read it appears this problem is limited to Wrangler model Jeep. Please help!!

Vehicle has had serious issues with steering and systems connected to it. I have changed the steering dampner as well as teh steering geasr box. Vehicle wanders horibly, doesnt track well, and is cconstantly losing its alignment. Its issues have affected power loss, stability control and more. Its been in service many times now and I have zero confidence in its abilty to control this vehicle safely. There are many complaints on ths year related to steering and I am another. I can turn teh vehicle wheel more than 90 degrees with zero wheel movement.

When going over 40mph the truck shakes uncontrollably, with only little bumps in the road. This is causing issues for me and it's very unsafe. Makes me not want to even drive. The vehicle is in motion when it happens. Feels like the wheel is going to come off. Scared.

The vehicle is difficult to keep in it's own lane when traveling above 45 mph. The vehicle wanders and the steering feels very loose. There are occasions on the highway when a vehicle passes or when passing a vehicle that it feels as if we may drift into another vehicle. It's scary enough that we avoid highways with it. It's currently at the dealership now being looked at.
