I love my Jeep Wrangler... that said, Chrysler/FCA/Jeep/Stellantis, whatever they are called, is an unethical car manufacturer. They pick and choose what they want to cover under warranty. The paint issues I've had, was first covered under warranty, but when I went back for additional work, I was told that Chrysler/FCA/Jeep/Stellantis had not paid my original warranty work and therefore my servicing dealer would no longer do any warranty paint work. This issue is currently at the core of at least 2 class action lawsuits, so this is now a known issue, so it's not like it's a one off issue. It's happening enough that there is clearly some manufacture or raw material issue going on.
They will take care of any other work deemed warranty, but nothing under paint. When I contact Chrysler/FCA/Jeep/Stellantis about it, they completely dismiss the fact that they never paid the dealer and tell me to try and find another dealer. Now why would another dealer help if you don't pay our bills. As I said, I love my Jeep Wrangler. I was hoping it to be my last vehicle as I work from home, and it is kept in a garage. Have very few miles and it's kept pristine. But... depending on how my next dealership visit goes, I may just trade it in and move on to a company that doesn't make it so evident they don't care about the dealer or the customer.
