UAQ Radio Enhancements
This bulletin involves inspecting and if required, updating the radio software level to 28.3.
Customers may experience one or more of the following:Application bar displays but the screen is black. Continuous chimes from the radio. Voice Recognition (VR) not recognizing voice. Bluetooth connection issues. Navigation screen freezes after a VR command. Intermittent operation of the remote services after vehicle has been turned off for 30 minutes or more. Off road App is missing. Rear View Camera (RVC) display screen turns blue or green. Audio quality Improvement in hands-free calling using Car Play, Android Auto or Bluetooth. Radio will continuously reset with the Jeep splash screen. Radio intermittently resetting or not booting up. Intermittent operation of the vehicle finder app. App icons at the bottom of the display freezes, touch screen will not respond. Radio may reset, turn off and then back on.
Audio distortion heard during phone calls and CarPlay. In addition, the following enhancements are also included in this update:Bluetooth improvements. VR improvements.
