Swinggate Check Strap
When opening the swinggate if the check strap over extends and pulls out, it is necessary to replace both upper and lower swinggate hinges - p/n 55395401A$. Before replacing parts, please call Chuck Hood at Cell (248) 613-7591 regarding Jeep Wrangler Swing-Gate Check Strap and Hinge issues. If no response in 15 minutes, continue with repair.
