2017 Jeep Wrangler. Sitting at a light on 2/14/2022. There was a loud screech. Instrument panel went crazy and smoke poured in through dash vents. Jeep was on fire. Everything was shot. Jeep is totaled.
No after market was added with the exception of dealership putting in heated seats at time of purchase. I called Jeep dealership and corporate Jeep. Being run around in circles. With my certified Jeep, I am entitled to loaner/rental car. 3 days later corporate has not contacted dealer to authorize rental. I have been on the phone for hours today trying to get a rental because I actually have to go to work to get paid. Crazy concept I know. When I contacted Jeep about the fire I was told "sometimes these things happen." The car was paid with hard earned cash. No finance, no lease straight up $35k and the answer is sometimes things happen. Really???
Customer service has been atrocious. Thank God no one was injured but this needs to be documented. Anyone else out there who has had similar issues?
