The contact owns a 2016 Jeep Wrangler. While the contact's son was driving 60 mph with the cruise control engaged, the speedometer decreased and increased. The driver stopped the vehicle and the cruise control was disengaged. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 22,000.
