The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to exceed 30 MPH. In addition, the contact stated that several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent dealer where a level 2 diagnostic test was completed, and the vehicle was diagnosed with ABS module failure. The contact was informed that the failure was due to water intrusion. The contact was informed that the ABS module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was contacted, and the contact was informed that the ABS module was unavailable and on backorder. The contact researched NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V675000 (Electronic Stability Control, Service Brakes, Hydraulic) however, neither the VIN nor the Year/Make/Model was included in the recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 69,321.
