Sensor went bad and this caused quite a scare. As I was turning across traffic, from the turn lane, into a private lot the vehicle felt like the transmission went out and I lost forward momentum. I hit the gas as hard as I could hoping it would get me across without being hit by the oncoming cars. It is a manual transmission, so since it would shift, I knew it wasn't the transmission. Of course the ABS and traction control lights were on, and being a new jeep wrangler owner I did not know what they meant. I looked it up online and found that it was a bad sensor. I took it in to my mechanic(out of warranty) and paid about $200.00 to replace the sensor. I could have done it myself for a lot less, but I am lazy......... What can I say?!?!?
