I have received a recall notice that there is a safety issue with my Jeep, but that the part to repair is not available for 6 weeks. They say that it is unlikely that it will be a problem but If I drive it and there is a problem, I have been warned that there is a safety issue. It is unlikely that I will win the lotto 649, but I still buy a ticket. So I have told Chrysler Canada and my dealer. (Destination Chrysler Jeep Dodge North shore) that I will not drive it until I have something in writing that says that the defective part in not a safety issue and they will not give me a loner.
