I smelled coolant when I walked in front of the Jeep. Dealer said water pump needed to be replaced. During repair dealer did not bleed system and used incorrect coolant. My wife picked the Jeep up for me and didn’t check, so I had to return to the dealer to have system flushed and bled. Make sure the proper coolant is used or it can gel inside of your engine.

Wrangler Rubicon 3.6L

  • Manual transmission
  • 7,200 miles

I can't believe the water pump failed only after 2 years and 7200 miles. Makes me weary of driving it off the grid. My 2010 Jeep Wrangler has been much more reliable.
