I love my jeep, but a loose heat shield over the muffler could pose a safety problem. what if it came out from under the jeep an hit another car or truck? what if the missing shield caused the fuel tank to overheat and cause a fire? not to mention the rattling noise it causes. my jeep has been serviced every 4000 miles and is in perfect shape other than this problem. till I can get to the dealership I have wired it up fir the time being...
