So the vehicle had a new left head put on it around 60k. At 128k same issues. Took it to shop. Two weeks later they had replaced the head on the left again, 3 camshifts and all lifters. Drove it 3 days. Engine light came on. Back to shop. Now it's a right head with a cracked valve. A week and a half later, I get the jeep back. Drive it a week, sounds like a bird is hung up in the vehicles' engine chirping. Back to shop tomorrow. 4200 dollars later and still messed up. Chrysler knows they have a problem with the left head and extended the warranty. The first 2 week stint still cost me 2800 bucks with a warrantied head because either the bad head destroyed the can and lifters or the untrained mechanic at Mcmullen Dodge did. The 2nd trip 3 days later cost another 1400 bucks. Suddenly the right head had a cracked valve. I suspect again the technician messed something up putting a camshaft in and I get to pay for It. It is My opinion that the engines are designed poorly. FAC should also warranty the right head as well. In fact they should completely recall the pentastar engine and replace every one of these pieces of sh*t they have pumped out into the marketplace with an entirely different engine and cease production of this garbage. If you email FAC, you will receive a canned letter and in my case they failed to even cut and paste my name into it correctly. Buyer beware should become the new FAC motto.
