On 7/22/11, I purchased a Jeep 2011 Wrangler Unlimited. When I signed the contract the vehicle had 140 miles, I drove the car six miles from the Cherry Hill Dodge (cherrry hill, nj)dealer. All the bells and whistles on the dashboard came on, I turned the car around and returned to the dealer. I sat at the dealer for 2 hrs until they decided they wouldn't be able to fix the problem that day. I was given a rental car. The next day I was told the jeep was fixed. I returned 50 miles(one way) to pick up the new jeep and was told it was a software update related to the O2 sensor. I return home with no issues. The next morning the jeep would not start at all. My husband tapped on the ignition switch under the key area and it started. We drove it 1 mile and all the light and alarms came on. Monday morning I contacted my sales person Steve Corsey. The service manager at Cherry Hill Dodge told me to take to a dealer closer to my home. I took the jeep to Bermont motors on Monday night. I was told on Monday they might be able to fit the jeep in on Tuesday, if not they would get to it on Wednesday. I called Wednesday afternoon and was told they had 6 of their OWN customers to get to before they would get to mine. I went and picked up the jeep within the hour. I called Cherry Hill Dodge and they were not helpful at all and very rude with my situation. I called Bergey's and was told they would be able to look at it on Friday. I dropped the Jeep off Thursday evening and the jeep was evaluated on Friday. I was told they would not be able to correct the problem that day and would like to keep it until Monday. My husband, after a stern conversation with the sales manager @ CHD, was able to get them to agree to a rental car. On Saturday, I called Jeep Corp and filed a complaint. On Monday, I was told by Bergey's they did not have any idea how long it was going to take to fix this problem and they were in touch with Jeep Corp. Jeep corp's case manager left a message stating that they were aware of my extended rental and left a return number. I have not been able to reach the case manager @ Jeep. She will not return my calls and no one will connect me to her. They will confirm she is in the office. On Thursday, Bergey's requested they drive the vehicle home to observe the jeep. As of Friday, two weeks from the date of purchase I have a $31000 vehicle that is non functioning and has been in shop 90% of the time. JEEP CORP or CHERRY HILL DODGE, NJ could care less!!!!!!
