A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I have been a loyal Jeep customer for over 20 years. I have owned a Cherokee and currently a Rubicon. My dilemma is with the service department.

current location: Chrysler Jeep West Covina  298 N Azusa Ave 858-7202 http://westcovinacdjr.com

1st visit: 6/25/18 I turn it in due to check engine light & smog check technician says to take my mechanic. Service states it was a solenoid module replacement. They have it for 5 days without offering, "Hey you need a temporary car?" or with no call back updates. I pay $700 for their service and they tell me run the car about 50 miles so it can reboot the system. 100 miles in, I go to my smog check and it failed again.

2nd visit: I told Service again (technician Andrew & Mgr Chris) that smog failed. They say now that it is a cracked fuel tank that needs replacement. I say did you not give a full diagnostic because they are blaming it on heat once I drove it off the lot. My car has less than 30,000 miles so I told them I feel that service did not do their part for a complete diagnosis. They keep the car for another 4 days with no offer for a replacement vehicle.  Chris says he did not call me due to family emergency which I can appreciate, however, someone else should have picked up his slack and followed through. I get charged for $1000 to get the fuel tank replaced. I get it back Sat. 7/28/18

3rd visit: Tue 7/31/18 Again smog failed. Chris says I'll handle it. I drop it off last Tue and now it is Saturday 8/4/18 with no call back, no updates as I try to get a hold of them almost everyday to no avail. As of today, no calls. Not one single call?

Customer satisfaction should be a priority and they claim that statement on their website. I have been given poor (not excellent) service and the trained technicians did not diagnose it properly and repair my issues. This is absolutely wrong that they had my car for over 12 days plus $1700 cost and I still can’t get my smog passed for my registration.

No call backs, no offer for temporary car, voicemail hell, appearance of misdiagnosis... Consumers need to be protected.

I hope to get this resolved and continue my relationship with Jeep.

March 4 2017 a check engine light came on. Drove to a auto repair shop was told that the head/valve was damaged needs a new engine rebuild. This was the first time that the light came on and now a new rebuild? I replaced the transmission at 50,000 now a new engine repair at 71,000. Called Chrysler was told that never occurs it must be the way I'm driving the jeep and that I need to take driving training. I love the Jeep brand but I think its time for another vehicle! 2010 Jeep Good Bye!
