Wrangler Unlimited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 68,657 miles

I was driving my Jeep and took off from a light and herd a very loud noise and it wouldn't shift our of 1st gear.

I babied it to the dealership 8 miles away. They called us after 4 day and said they would be taking the transmission out to see what went wrong. They found hundreds of pieces of metal and told us we needed a new transmission. My husband got number for Jeep customer service and we have been told my to agents we are covered by unlimited drive train warranty. Well my husband has been on the phone with them everyday and they tell us were covered. Dealer called and told us he got a call from Jeep telling him it wasn't covered and we would have to pay. Called Jeep again and they say they never called the dealership. We are still waiting on Jeep to tell the dealership it is under warranty. This has been a nightmare and is still going on. I think Jeep isn't going to covered this and we had such low mileage and had never taken it off road and I'm 70 years old and never misuse my vehicle..
