I bought a Jeep because Jeeps are supposed to be strong, dependable, and get you where you need to go...and for the most part this vehicle has done that. But at about 49,000 miles it started handling bad, clunking in the front, wearing tires, and just not feeling right so we put her on the rack and discovered the ball joints were BAD!!! Really bad! So we replaced them and the problem is solved but at less than 50K miles?!?! Really?!? Jeeps should be using better parts than that considering what they are. A Jeep should hold up. We take this vehicle off road now and again but maybe once or twice a year and never aggressively, just toodling around in the woods some. We don't abuse it so the fact that it's wearing out so quickly is troubling.
