Service Bulletin # 14-001-11, dated February 11, 2011 built between March 1, 2007 March 31, 2008 recall on inlet check valve recall. My vehicle was built 08/2006 and does not fall within the dated window however it is experiencing the issue. Gas overflow is not only a cost of money but also a danger to the environment. I am asking for an extension on this recall to include my manufactured year.

Fuel spits out during filling so you have to barely squeeze the pump handle. It takes a long time to just put $20 in gas in it sometimes as long as 5 mins. When you live in a cold weather state it becomes an issue when you try to pump it and get splashed with gas because you are trying to get out of the cold. Seems like this would be a health hazard along with a fueling problem.

I bought my 2007 Jeep Wrangler in November 2020. It had approximately 122,000 miles on it and has the 6 speed manual transmission. After driving it for 7 days, I was backing out of a parking spot and heard a loud squeal and was unable to shift gears. It had to have the clutch replaced along with the flywheel and several other clutch associated parts. The total was $1,600. The salesman at the dealership where I bought it told me as I was buying it that there is no warranty but if something happens in the first couple of weeks that he would work with us. Of course he did NOT help me. He wouldn't even return my phone calls. Whatever, buyer beware! Second issue is of course the fuel spit back problem. Every time I fill up, I end up with gas on the Jeep and on the ground. I love wasting money like that. There is apparently a recall on this issue but your website says my vehicle has no recalls. Third issue is all the door hinges are rusting really bad. I saw that there were several service bulletins on the proper procedures for replacing those hinges. Those should be replaced by the dealer at no cost.

When the Jeep needs refueled, it overflows. The pump handle can be manually operated so it can physically stop the overflow but not every time. Happens every week usually on a Thursday or Friday morning. 87 octane is used and does not matter which gas station is chosen at the time. This is an ongoing problem since purchasing the vehicle when we lived in Oregon.

Purchased 2007 Jeep Wrangler in 2015 and have had problems with fuel splashing from gas tank when filling up. This should not happen. Fuel should stop once tank is full. I have noticed this is a problem with many Jeep Wrangler (jk) owners and would like to know if a recall is in effect or how it can be fixed. Bottom line I have called several dealers inquiring about part cnnnx321ac, which is a recall part #, but they can't sell it to me. So, if I can't buy the part to fix and they have no recall on the car, is my only option at this point to sue the Chrysler corporation? this is a car my daughter drives and it is a safety issue not just some superficial issue with Jeep. This occurs every time she goes to the gas station to fill the Jeep. Smelling like petroleum after every filling of tank is not the right answer.

Every time I fill up the fuel tank leaks during normal driving condition and especially while making turns or if parked it will leak in the parking spot as the day gets warmer. There is also a very strong fuel smell during this times and very noticeable by everyone in the Jeep or around it.

Fuel spills out of fuel tankl filling port after fuel dispensing equipment automatically stops. Fuel dispensing pump safety feathers incompatible with Jeep gas tank fuel filling design.this presents dangerous conditions and environmental concern with every fuel fill up regardless of gas station ran or equipment. It's almost as if fuel vilume greatly increases after gas dispenser stops fueling. More then a quarter gallon of fuel is spilled on my vehicle all over it every time I fill my vihicle, hot breaking system components and exhaust components coming in contact with liquid fuel, .forums and internet searches reflect that this problem exists on all vehicles with this fuel system design.situation captured in this video: Https://youtu.be/zouvokeolo8

Every time I fill tank, it overflows. I have to stand by it and listen to hear when getting close to full, so I can manually stop it or it gushes all over every time. Fed up, its dangerous with gas all over the Jeep and ground. Many different gas stations, many different states, all the same.

When using a gas pump to auto-fill the tank, the pump shuts off and the tank overflows some of the fuel onto the paint on the outside of the Jeep. Doesn't matter what gas station I go to, the style of nozzle, or the angle the nozzle is used at. It over fills every time.

I just bought the Jeep about 3 weeks ago. I took it to the gas station and walked away to clean the windows while it was filling up. I look over and gas is spewing out all over the place. I thought it was a bad gas pump. On the next fill up, it did it again. I looked on google and I find that Chrysler knows about this and has not done a recall on this. On some of their other vehicles but not this one. I am hoping that not only can you get Chrysler to fix mine, but force to to do a recall before someone is killed.

When fueling the vehicle and you reach the full point it does not stop the pump. Instead it shoots fuel everywhere including on the person fueling the vehicle. At first I though it was the pump being used but this actually happens every time you fill it up.

Everyime this vehicle is fueled full at the gas pump, it will not shut off when the tank is full. This results in an overflow of gasoline, everywhere...on my hands, down the side of my vehicle and puddles on the ground. There is no warning and the only way I am able to fill the tank is by turning the engine on and watching the mileage increase on the distance to empty (dte) display on my dash.... which is not safe to do. It occurs everytime I fill up my Jeep. There is no recall to fix this issue. It's been an issue since I purchased my Jeep in March 2010.
