The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. While driving 35 mph, the ABS locked up. The dealer did not know how to repair the vehicle under NHTSA campaign id number 06V493000 (service brakes, hydraulic:antilock:control unit/module ). she stated that she will locate another dealer and notify the manufacturer. The current mileage was 3,000 and failure mileage was 1,000.
The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that the vehicle fails to accelerate and shuts off after coming to a complete stop. The ignition switch must be turned off in order to restart the engine. He stated that the vehicle stalled five times within the last ten days. The dealer has reprogrammed the computer at least twice. Also, when making a right turn, the anti-skid control activates and the brakes are applied. The anti-skid control light illuminates and then dims after the turn is made. The dealers verified with a road test that the anti-skid does activate at approximately 25-35 mph, but no repairs have been made. The contact was unsure of the component names regarding the reprogramming and anti-skid failures. The current mileage was 4,200 and failure mileage was 3,300.
