All Jeep 2005 Wrangler owners that I have talked to has a problem with slamming the door on the seat belt when they exit the vehicle. I attempt to remember to move the belt by hand and I usually do so, however, I do forget occasionally. As I understand it, slamming the seat belt in the door latch, even once, can severely weaken the material and cause it to fail to restrain a front seat passenger in case of an accident. This is by no means an isolated case; it is almost universal and should be laid at the feet of the manufacturer and they should address it with a recall and an appropriate fix.
