Upon refilling my 2005 Jeep Wrangler unlimited with gasoline when the gas pump shuts off there is a blow back of roughly 1 quart of gasoline. This happens each and every time I re-fuel and each time it is roughly the same amount of blow back.
Every single time I fill my Jeep up with gasoline it spits back at me. I have to stand back while filling the tank and gauge approximately how much gas I am low so I can predict when to slow down the pump, just to soften the amount of gas that is spit back. This only limits the amount that spits back, it does not stop it entirely. Half of the time I end up wet with gasoline.
Every single time I put gas in the Jeep, it overflows. Even if I listen carefully and try to stop it before it is completely full. It sprays gas all over me, the parking lot and the Jeep. This is very dangerous and I'm afraid of a fire.

When filling up the Jeep with gas this morning, fuel shot out of the Jeep about 3 feet and also ran down the side of the Jeep right when the fuel pump shut off. Had I been standing in front of the fuel tank, I would have been covered in gas to include my face. This is a known problem and Chrysler needs to recall this! this is not only a safety problem, but a hazmat problem as well.
Fuel tank overflows every time I fill up. Gas spills on the ground. It happens at all the gas stations I visit in multiple states, including Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois and Indiana.
Every time I fill up my gas tank at the pump fuel flies up out of the tank and all over the place. Everytime I fill up I have to clean gas off of my vehicle and the ground.

My 2005 Jeep Wrangler has started spitting fuel out when I fill up. It never did it up until this time. It splashes fuel on the ground and down the side of my vehicle. We also get a strong smell of gas in the vehicle when it happens.
My fuel tank overflowed during fuel fill up. This has happened the last 4 or 5 times consistently. I even tried to fill the fuel tank at the slowest speed possible and it still overflowed and came out the filler neck when full.
Every time during refueling the gas spits, or splashes out. This causes a significant amount of gasoline to be spilled on the vehicle and the ground. It is not only a waste, an environmental hazard, but a safety hazard. Please discuss the matter further with Jeep. I am not the only owner with this issue, and far many more owners have yet to report this problem.
Whenever I am filling up my Jeep it regularly overflows causing fuel to spill all over myself, vehicle, and ground. It typically spills for a few seconds until the pump shuts off but it is a hassle, fire hazard, and costly. I am aware of many other Jeep Wrangler owners that have this problem.
When refueling, the pump does not shut off before spraying gasoline out of the tank. This occurs whether the pump is running fast or slow and whether the nozzle is all the way in or not.
When fueling at gas station the fuel does not cut off and fuel spills back out of the vehicle onto the person fueling and/or the vehicle and ground. There is no warning and the pump does not cut off.
When I fill up the gas tank. The valve in the tank is stuck. So it will not automatically turn off the pump causing me to not know if it is full or not. Since there is no way to know when it is full it spills out if the tank and all over me the body of my car and ground. This is a well known complaint with all Wrangler in this model. Please help fix this.
