- the contact has a 2000 Jeep Wrangler with an odometer reading of 100000 miles. The contact stated that he had parked the vehicle for ten minutes in his driveway when he noticed smoke coming from under the hood. When he approached the vehicle and noticed that the vehicle was on fire. The contact stated that he extinguished the fire, but the fire department did come out and made a report. The contact found that the fire was related to recall 02V104000 fuel system, gasoline:fuel injection system:injectors, he then called the manufacturer, and one of their investigators came out made a report, but they stated that the fire was not caused by the recall. The contact stated that while driving the vehicle prior to the fire there were no warning lights active to indicate a problem.
