TL ' the contact owns a 1999 Jeep Wrangler. While the vehicle was being serviced for an unrelated repair, the mechanic noticed that the front passenger's side frame was severely rusted. The front driver's side frame contained a hole and a crack. The vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 68,000. Jcc
During rain and traveling at normal speeds, vehicle starts to tak in water through body welds from floor board and bolts for passenger seat/ firewall leak was repaired by dealer, but body continues to leak uncontrollably/ new vehicle have same problem. Review jep forums for proof.
It seem like all of the exterior components painted black are now chipping. Mainly on the passenger side mirror and on the brackets which hold the window in the hard top.
A body seal on the passenger side allows water to enter the passenger side compartment (front and rear) causing inches of water to accumulate ruining the interior carpet. Nlm
