Approximately two years ago(the first incident) my parked vehicle started on its own, no keys in the ignition. The vehicle is a manual and was in first gear with the parking brake down when it started up and started lurching forward into the wall of the garage. I had to take the battery cables off of the battery to stop the vehicle from crashing into the wall. I took it to the dealership and the mechanic claimed, because the problem wasn't actully happening at the time, that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. It has happened on three different occasions since. Honestly, I'm affraid to park it anywhere in a public place because it could possibly endanger the lives of other motorists or pedestrians near by. At the moment I have it at petersburg Jeep/Chrysler in petersburg va. (804-862-1000) for the lastest incident involving this problem. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
