Flash: Battery Drained After Sitting Overnight
This bulletin involves reprogramming the Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC)
module with the latest available software.
A small number of customers may experience an intermittent dead battery situation when
attempting to start the vehicle after sitting overnight. The software in the HVAC module is
causing a parasitic draw resulting in the gradual discharge of the battery. This condition is
corrected by updating the HVAC with the latest available software.
