CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Jeep Renegade has a very large volume of complaints for such a new model, especially compared to other SUVs in the same class.
Most Jeep Renegade complaints are for various problems with interior accessories & electrical systems, as well as squealing brakes, transmission (rough shifting) and engine problems.
On the date February 24th 2016 at 8am I was leaving for work when I put the Jeep Renegade in reverse to back up out my parking spot, once I backed up far enough I put the jeep into drive and took my foot off the brake. Once I took my foot of the brake the Jeep acted like it was not in drive and continued to roll backward which caused me to roll into the parked car behind me. My foot was hovering over the gas because the jeep "was" in drive and I was anticipating that I was going to press the gas in too move forward, But instead the car rolled back as I smashed the brake in it was to late and I already rolled into the car door with the rear of my jeep.
