CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Jeep Renegade has a very large volume of complaints for such a new model, especially compared to other SUVs in the same class.
Most Jeep Renegade complaints are for various problems with interior accessories & electrical systems, as well as squealing brakes, transmission (rough shifting) and engine problems.
I have my Jeep Renegade in for Warranty recall inspections and fixes. The original problem was the doors wouldn't lock and the brakes squealed. They have fixed those and as of now I don't know what the problem or the fix was because they are still working on it. Apparently the Steering Gear Box is on the "things to look at " with Jeep. The dealer did purchase me a rental vehicle and I am ok with that. I want them to fix what's wrong, and maybe that will help others and make the next generation of this Jeep better. Just remember , if you have a new Jeep Renegade and you have any problems take it to the dealer, it's warranted and tell them to check and fix all recall items related to this model. So far the dealership has been awesome.
