CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Jeep Renegade has a very large volume of complaints for such a new model, especially compared to other SUVs in the same class.
Most Jeep Renegade complaints are for various problems with interior accessories & electrical systems, as well as squealing brakes, transmission (rough shifting) and engine problems.
After the dealership applied 9 software updates at a single appointment that took 4 hours, the vehicles lane-change turn signal feature doesn't work ~20% of the time.
First the ignition switch wouldn't release my key. Had to get new ignition tumbler after two weeks having the car! THen most recent issue the right blinker light went out and daytime lights in and out.
Had my car for another week (first issue had my car for week) they had to put new full body module in. Re map everything in it. so far my first two car payments and both times was in the shop.
Today the right blinker light is out again. Which is the original issue on the second visit to service.
I am now waiting to hear back from my case manager at Chrysler. I truly have a lemon I do believe.
