Most Jeep Renegade complaints are for various problems with interior accessories & electrical systems, as well as squealing brakes, transmission (rough shifting) and engine problems.
2015 JEEP RENEGADE TRAILHAWK purchased used from dealer with 32000 miles. Loved this vehicle until yesterday when I turned it on in the morning and received warning lights for air bags and power steering. Then power steering just went out. THANK GOD i was just moving slowly. pulled over and tried to shut off but key wouldn't come loose of the ignition. Then when i finally got key out, truck wouldn't shut off. The key was in my hand and truck was still running. Limped home. disconnected and removed the battery. had it tested. Mopar battery at 99%. reinstalled. tried it again, same %^&*. The truck stays running even when the key is out of ignition and ignition switch shows off!!
After the dealership applied 9 software updates at a single appointment that took 4 hours, the vehicles computer settings randomly change on their own when the car is turned off...
