My 2015 Jeep Renegade had the brake light indicator light up. The dealership ran diagnostics and told me that the brake light was on because a sensor in the passenger seat was not working. The sensor couldn't tell if there was a passenger in the seat or not. We were given a $400 estimate and decided not to fix it at this time.
