Sept. 27, the brakes locked up while I was driving about 40 mph! I was traveling West on old US12, just leaving chelsea, gaining speed. There were no cars around me, nothing in front, beside, or turning near me. There were no animals in the road. There was no reason for the brakes to lock up. I was driving a friend home, all she noticed was the the brake light came on. I very carefully and slowly drove my friend home and took the car to the dealership, I told them I was not driving the car until they figured out why this happened. It is not safe!

Setting for automatic turn-on of electric parking brake does not "hold" in the uconnect (radio) settings as set by the consumer. The setting regarding the parking brake turns on by itself, meaning the parking brake can come on by itself when the vehicle is switched off. This is just one of the many settings including cornering lights which changes at the computer's whim. This same uconnect system causes the measurement of miles per hour to change to kilometers per hour randomly, and tire pressure measurement to change from psi to bars. The amount of time headlights remain-on after engine shut down also randomly changes. The radio/uconnect/"brain" of the car has already had the one update posted by fca installed to prevent hacking which is the only update fca has available. These settings seem to change randomly, observed mainly when starting the car, but the dashboard "units of measurement" have changed once while in motion.
