CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Jeep Renegade has a very large volume of complaints for such a new model, especially compared to other SUVs in the same class.
Most Jeep Renegade complaints are for various problems with interior accessories & electrical systems, as well as squealing brakes, transmission (rough shifting) and engine problems.
I have had so many problems with this vehicle. The cooling fan went out. I noticed when I turned the air on it would bog down my Jeep. It would make it idle funny, and dim the lights when it was running. The noise it made was awful, it sounded like a scrapping noise. When the fan went out we were in line at a Sonic, and I turned the AC off and this loud noise happened and then it started smoking. I had to have it towed on Labor Day. This is just one of my problems here.
