I've had 2 problems with this vehicle since I've had it. First, the tire icon continually comes on even after I have inflated tires to their proper pressure. And number 2, and the costliest so far - I had to pay $731 to replace an electronic throttle control because I lost power and acceleration suddenly while riding in traffic. The check engine light came on along with, traction control icon and of course electronic control icon. I was extremely concerned and worried about my safety, especially if this occurred on an expressway or bridge. I found out from my mechanic that this a common problem with the Jeep Patriot. I want the manufacturer to issue a recall on the Jeep Patriot and reimburse me and repair these serious ongoing defects.
