The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Patriot. While driving at any speed, the vehicle inadvertently accelerated. The contact stated that an unknown warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to miller's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (48 kelly island rd, martinsburg, wv 25401, 304-263-8821) where it was diagnosed that the throttle body needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 65,000.
