The contact owns a 2013 Jeep Patriot. While driving approximately 60 mph, a burning odor emitted inside the vehicle. The contact discovered that the excessive heat from the exhaust caused the bumper to melt. The contact was concerned that the failure could cause a fire. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 33,000. Update 01/15/16
