On May 14, 2017 I walked outside to my parked car in the driveway and noticed that the tire on the driver's side was separating down the middle. I immediately drove to Firestone, with caution and low speed, and got it inspected. Once inspected by onsite workers, they told me that the tire had failed and that I would need a new one. I am concerned because I purchased a package at Firestone with four tires and I am worried that this will happen to the rest of my tires.
When I first purchased the car, I notice that I had to fill up the gas every week. After a while the low air notification came on. Basically I find myself adding air to the tires once every few weeks. Since I've done that I noticed I have a little better gas mileage. But I wanted to know am I alone with the faulty tires or are they leaking and what should I do. Do I go back to the dealer? they are Goodyear brand of tires.
