I have a lifetime maximum care warranty that I bought with my 2011 Jeep Patriot. Jeep put a new clutch in my car at 138,000 miles. At 141,000 the clutch failed again. They said something happened when they put the first clutch in, when they took it for a road test they had to two it back because they did something wrong during the repair. That ruined my transmission. The Transmission went out at 148,000 miles and now Chrysler refuses to fix it under warranty. Their excuse is that my car is only worth 5800.00 blue book value. If that were true every classic car in America would be worthless. That's NOT true. My car looks like it just came off the showroom floor. It is PERFECT condition inside and outside. It was never serviced anywhere else but Jeep. They are just trying to get out of my warranty.

They have been trying to buy my car back for years. They said, "You can sell it back to us for the 5800.00". They know my car is worth way more than 5800.00. They want to buy it back and turn around and sell it for 10,000. They gave me a price to fix the transmission of 6179.00 then turned around the next day and gave me another quote for 10,000. They charged 630.00 worth of SHOP SUPPLIES on that quote. Who the hell needs 630.00 of shop supplies to fix a transmission? Needless to say I took it to AAMCO and paid HALF that price and my car is running better than ever.

Chrysler is a RIP OFF. I want in on any class action lawsuits in the State of MD. We need to get these people for not honoring their contract. I had the same stalling problem other people are talking about just wanted to let them know it is probably the crank sensor. That is what was wrong with my car when it stalled and I lost acceleration. My car is a manual, they charged me to replace my front axle and never did the job. All they did was put a seal on it. I had AAMCO replace it for me. They can stick their excuses where the sun doesn't shine. I'm getting a lawyer and suing them for the cost of my transmission. Their lifetime power train warranty is a JOKE - do not fall for it!
