So, my right tail light does not go on when the lights are turned on yet that blinker works. My left tail light remains on when turned off and that blinker does not work even if lights are on. The front right light stays on regardless of the lights being turned off.... It's a bitch and could lead to me being pulled over! Considering my cars only worth 8k I think it's silly to spend $850 as the dealership, who diagnosed the problem, quoted me to replace to computer that's the source of the problem, aka the TIPM. It's a 5 year car, why is the comp broken? And why the f*ck did Chrysler run the headlight circuit through a comp when.... guess what, it didn't need to happen in the first place!
Most annoying is research on the issue has revealed recalls on the TIPM in newer years of the Patriot because those faulty parts cause airbags to deploy and whippers not to work! So, the part sucks, but because my issue is not life threatening I'll get raped in the ass to fix a problem which could lead to me getting pulled over! Dumb, dumb design!
