I have a 2009 patriot with 59000 miles. Three times the ETC, ESP and MIL lights have come on and then the vehicle is in limp mode. Dealer replaced the throttle pedal the first time. Then the cam sensor the second time. The third time I bought a scan tool. It had 8 codes stored. C121c, p0346, p0340, p0652, p2127, and three others. I cleared all of them and now I can drive it. I'm waiting for this to happen again for a fresh set of codes. I don't know if the dealer cleared all of the old ones. I heard that the wiring around the left front inner fender could chaff against the sharp metal in that area and cause this problem. I found four chaff possibilities and I wrapped them with a protective hose. Time will tell if this fixes the problem.
