The TPMS sensors are supposed to be a safety precaution to warn you if you are getting a flat or your air pressure is low. In fact they are more of a damn safety hazard themselves more than anything else!!!!!!!!! Today was the second sensor I had that the nut holding it onto the rim just disappeared and left me with a 1/8" hole in the rim where the stem and sensor should be instantly causing the tire to go flat. Thankfully this time it happened while I was pulling into work. The first time it happened was at speed on a damn highway!!!!! Easiest, cheapest thing to do is replace them with a friggin rubber stem and throw them in the trash, not worth the money to replace at $80 a piece!! What ever happened to the old fashion rubber steam and pressure gauge to tell the air pressure. Come on Jeep get rid of this so called safety precaution and go back to basics. You are putting safety hazards on every Jeep you produce.
