Minding my own business me and my pregnant future wife were driving down the road, when suddenly my 2008 Jeep Patriot begins making a loud grinding/ ticking noise which scared me half to death. And just after that noise began another noise sounding like a loud break/ fracture happening. Than my car completely turns off, won't accelerate, no electronics. I forcefully turn into the nearest parking lot to than find black smoke pouring from under my hood. I pop the hood and fire under my engine. No idea why, I kept up with my car, I had it only 3-4 months.
I reported this before....but no word from Chrysler. Drove 2 miles. Parked car....got back in and all of a sudden.....fire under the hood. It was scary.
Ignored by the company....time to have others join in and again law suit if need be. they are bad.
