I was taking off at a red light last week in my Jeep Liberty Limited and it just quick moving forward. I pressed the gas pedal all the way and it finally took off. Scarred me to death! I had just gotten gas an thought I had bad gas. I went and spent a ton on gas treatments and thought it might fix it.. Started only going to Exxon to get gas just in case the other place had bad gas.
Well last night it happened again!! I wen too turn left in front of several cars and had plenty of time to get out of the way, but I forgot that it might stall out.. Well it did and I barely got it to get fuel again to move out of the way from getting hit. Made an appoint for the auto shop to look at this morning. I go out to start my car to warm up since its 20 degree in Texas today and I barley got the motor to turn over. It started knocking and vibrating and I shut it off. I stated it again and it sounded so bad! The engine light came on and it was barely running. I drove 2 blocks to the auto shop and it almost died on me!! OMG the guy says my fuel pump is probably going out and cold weather makes it worse. I just called and there is not a recall on the Liberty but there is on the Grand Cherokee. Oh really.
