There is definitely something wrong with the 2010 Jeep Liberty I just bought from Cross Motors in Louisville Ky and now the General Manager is trying to say it is my "health" problems and no problem exist. The odor in the car is a sweet smelling odor that burns my mouth and throat so badly sometimes I lose my voice. It doesn't do it all the time, mostly after I have driven 30 minutes, but this morning the wiff of odor was when I turned on the car. I tried contacting Chrysler to get prior owner's information to see if they had the same problems and was told some garbage about proprietary information. What a cop out. And now Chrysler is saying "NO" to recalls when dangerous things are happening with Jeeps. The dealer said they would take the car as a trade in for another car, with a $1500 loss to me after only having less than 3 weeks. And then they said (I'm sure from the General Manager) that no car they had would help since it was my health problem. Yeah, and this car has made my health problem much worse - can't breath.
All I want is to find out what is leaking in my car, so I can safety drive my car. Is that too much to ask after buying a car from a reputable dealer?
