I have received several recall/repair letters from DaimlerChrysler. Each time I call the local dealer, I'm told that the manufacturer is low on parts, but they will notify me when replacement parts are available. After five months of requests and delays, I have finally told the dealer that the safety repair needs to be completed promptly. The dealer has agreed to schedule service now, but only after months of waiting and excuses, not to mention my final push to them.
