My wife and 18 month old son were involved in a frontal crash accident and the airbags never deployed. They were traveling 35mph when a woman pulled out in front of them (she thought it was a 4-way stop but it wasn't) and she hit the side of the other vehicle without being able to apply the brakes. My wife has some shoulder and neck injuries, son is fine other than some seat belt burns. The crash pictures don't look that bad but when I looked under the car the airbag sensor was crushed.
