I don't know what is causing this problem. At first I thought it was dropping into overdrive at 50 mph but it happens at various speeds. A friend drove it 400 miles and he said it felt like the engine was skipping. I was with him and it started doing it quite often. Pretty nerve wracking in a busy city like Boston, MA.
