Cooling fan went out which caused Jeep to overheat, causing engine damage. I had to replace the short block, water pump, engine fan. I was told that this is the exact issue that has been recalled but not for my vehicle. This needs to be looked into more thoroughly for my Jeep's year and manufacture date. This first occurred 4/23/07 and was fixed several times until 5/8/07.
