This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The ignition switch failed (broke). Took to authorized dealer. They replaced switch, which broke again, during their testing process. I am now advised that there is something with the steering column that is breaking the switch, dealer says complete steering column has been replaced. They can not or will not explain what in the column is breaking the ignition switch. There is no way of knowing if this will even fix the problem. Where this is something internal, there is now way for the owner/operator to know there is a problem. If the switch were to break during vehicle operation, who knows what the outcome would be.
